First-Place Finish Garners Women's CC Weekly Accolades For ONU's Fournier

CHICAGO --- A first-place finish from Olivet Nazarene University's Eleanor Fournier (Canton, Ill.) during the seven-day period ending Sept. 17 has earned her Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week honors, the league office announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Fournier clocked in at 19:37.7 over the 5K course in the Tigers' own Midwest Classic on Friday.  The junior's performance also guided NAIA No. 21-ranked ONU to the team title.

A total of 57 runners made up the field.     

Other Nominees: Jordyn Fleener (Trinity Christian), Priya Knox (Governors State), Bailey Wilk (St. Francis).
