ONU Sweeps Women's T&F Weekly Honors Behind Antkoviak, Mikottis "A" Marks

CHICAGO --- Notching NAIA "A" standard marks during the seven-day period ending April 21, Hannah Antkoviak (Allegan, Mich.) and Kayla Mikottis (St. Charles, Ill.) helped Olivet Nazarene University sweep Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Outdoor Track & Field weekly honors, the league office announced on Wednesday.

Antkoviak, the CCAC Track Athlete of the Week for the second time this season, bolted to the facility meet record and notched the No. 1 time in the NAIA in the process in the 400-meter hurdle event at the Indiana State University Gibson Invitational on Saturday.  There, she posted a time of 57.24 seconds to defeat 20 other competitors.

Mikottis secured a third-place finish at the same meet in the discus event to earn CCAC Field Athlete of the Week accord.  The senior recorded a distance of 145 feet, 6 inches in the field of 34 challengers, many of whom represented NCAA I institutions.
