CHICAGO --- A combined five individual titles won over the weekend by Olivet Nazarene University's Linda Griffith (South Holland, Ill.) and Madeleine Robinson (Sandwich, Ill.) have garnered Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference praise for the two women's indoor track & field performers, it was announced by the league office on Wednesday morning.

Griffith won each of the three events she competed in at St. Ambrose University's Bumble Rumble on Friday to claim CCAC Track Athlete of the Week accord. The junior ran the second-fastest time in the league this year in the 60-meter dash (7.92) to out-perform 14 other individuals. She also authored the conference's best time in the 60-meter hurdles, finishing in 9.25 seconds amongst a field of eight competitors.

For both events, Griffith just missed the "B" standard by one-tenth of a second.

She then completed her day by being part of the first-place finishing 4x400-meter relay team, which ran a 4:08.82 against 14 other teams.

Robinson registered her first-place efforts in both the weight throw and the shot put to notch CCAC Field Athlete of the Week recognition. In the latter event, the senior established the top mark in both the conference and the NAIA with her "A" standard 45 feet, 0.25 inch throw, which was better than 23 other competitors.

She also out-performed 19 others in the weight throw with her distance of 50 feet, 6.25 inches.

Other Track Nominees: Rakiya Lawrence (Saint Xavier).

Other Field Nominees: Precious Agugua (Saint Xavier), Teghan Tillman (St. Francis).
