Rematch Set Between SAU and ONU For Women's Soccer Tournament Title
CHICAGO --- The rematch is set with No. 3 seed Olivet Nazarene University set to face top-seeded St. Ambrose University for the 2023 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Tournament title after both teams scored comfortable three-goal victories in the semifinal round on Tuesday.
ONU (11-3-4) was the only league team to solve St. Ambrose (14-4) during the regular season, winning 1-0 back on Sept. 19. Since then, the Fighting Bees have run off 11 straight victories, while allowing more than one goal just once in those 11 contests.
The championship match is set for 6 pm on Friday.
Olivet Nazarene needs another win on Friday to extend its season to the NAIA National Tournament Opening Round. Otherwise, Trinity Christian gains the league's second automatic bid by placing second during the regular season. St. Ambrose already earned the first bid by capturing the regular-season crown.

After Saint Xavier gained the initial goal in the 38th minute, St. Ambrose responded with the other four goals in the contest, three of which came after the break. Daniya El-Zein provided half of the goals for the winners with Taylor DeSplinter contributing two assists. Saint Xavier was held to just two shots on goal for the match.
Olivet Nazarene 3, Viterbo 0
Olivet Nazarene stymied Viterbo's offense by limiting the V-Hawks to just one total shot, which was not on goal. Keeley Francis, Skylar Bos and Annabel Murley provided the scoring for the Tigers.
