Clements' Four Goals For VU, Randall's Two Shutouts For ONU Warrant Weekly Women's Soccer Honors

CHICAGO --- Brooke Clements' four goals for Viterbo University and Meegan Randall's two shutouts for Olivet Nazarene University during the seven-day period ending Sept. 24 have earned the pair Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference women's soccer weekly recognition, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday.

Clements (Kenosha, Wis.) collected her third CCAC Offensive Player of the Week award with her eight-point performance over the seven days.  The junior forward's first goal came in a 2-2 tie with Saint Xavier University last Tuesday.  She then delivered a hat trick on Saturday in an 8-1 decision over Indiana University South Bend.

The four goals in four days gave Clements a league-best nine goals on the season.  She also leads the conference in total points with 22.

The contests were the first two of the league season for the V-Hawks, who are 3-1-4 on the campaign.

Randall (Republic, Mo.) began her conference career by authoring a pair of shutouts to earn CCAC Defensive Player of the Week recognition.  The freshman turned in the first clean sheet last Tuesday with one save in a 1-0 nod over St. Ambrose University.  She recorded another four saves in a 3-0 win over Indiana University Northwest on Friday.

Randall has now posted shutouts in each of her team's three wins this season.  Overall, the Tigers are 3-2-2, while being one of only two league unbeatens at 2-0.

Other Defensive Nominees: Roxana Herrera (Roosevelt), Michelle Urribarri (Trinity Christian), Daniya El-Zein (St. Ambrose).
