TCC's Scibetta, IUNW's Escalera Capture Weekly Women's Soccer Honors

CHICAGO --- Demi Scibetta's hat trick for Trinity Christian College and Isabel Escalera's shutout in goal for Indiana University Northwest have earned the two individuals Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week honors for the seven-day period ending Sept. 10, the league office announced on Tuesday.

Scibetta (Murrieta, Calif.) gained the CCAC Offensive Player of the Week nod with her three-goal game against Brescia College (Ky.) on Saturday.  The senior defender also recorded one assist for seven total points in the 6-3 victory.

The contest was the only one on the week for the Trolls, who are 3-0-1 on the season.

Escalera (Waukegan, Ill.) captured CCAC defensive honors with her shutout this past Wednesday at University of Saint Francis (Ind.).  The sophomore goalkeeper made five saves in the 0-0 draw.

Indiana Northwest is 1-0-3 through four matches this season.
