CHICAGO --- Indiana University South Bend's Katie Gard (Oak Creek, Wis.) helped keep the Titans as one of only a handful of remaining unbeatens in the NAIA with a pair of performances during the seven-day period ending Jan. 28 that earned her Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors for the second time this season, the league office announced Tuesday.

Gard averaged 24.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals, while shooting 53.3 percent overall (16-of-30), 45 percent from long distance (9-of-20) and 87.5 percent at the foul line (7-of-8) in a pair of victories last week.

The senior guard had her second-highest scoring output of the season last Wednesday when she totaled 27 points on 9-of-16 shooting – 6-of-13 on trey attempts – to go along with five rebounds, three assists and one steal in an 80-45 decision over crosstown foe Holy Cross College.

Gard then put up 21 points on 50 percent shooting (7-of-14) with five more rebounds and four steals in a 91-42 victory opposite Trinity Christian College.
