CHICAGO --- Governors State University's Tabetha Jones (Chicago, Ill.) has claimed her second Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week award of the season, the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Jones claimed all-tournament honors at the Jaguars' own Winter Classic on Thursday and Friday after producing averages of 15.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.0 steals and 3.5 assists per game in a pair of wins.

The graduate student forward opened the tournament with a 14-point, four-assist, three-steal, three-rebound effort in a 78-70 victory over Mount Vernon Nazarene University (Ohio).  That was followed by a 16-point, six-rebound, five-steal, three-assist contest in a 70-44 championship-game victory versus Indiana University East.

Besides all of her other numbers, Jones also shot .636 from the field, converting 14 of her 22 attempts.

In the conference this season, she ranks third in scoring at 17.3 points per game.

Governors State now owns an 11-3 overall record and a 5-1 mark in conference play.
