Double-Double Earns Saint Xavier's Baldwin Women's Basketball Weekly Accolades
CHICAGO --- Posting her first double-double of the 2023-24 season, Saint Xavier University's Bethany Baldwin (Watersmeet, Mich.) has been named the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the seven-day period ending Dec. 17, the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon.
In her only game of the week, Baldwin totaled 20 points and 10 rebounds in a 77-70 conference win over Indiana University Northwest on Saturday. The senior guard converted 53.8 percent of her shots from the field (7-of-13), while also going 2-for-4 from three-point range.
Baldwin dished out five assists, had three steals and registered one block, as well.
Saint Xavier's victory got the Cougars back to .500 overall (5-5), while remaining in the thick of the conference race at 4-1.
