CHICAGO --- Saint Xavier University's Cameron Daniels (Omaha, Neb.) continued his run of success with his third straight Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Volleyball Setter of the Week award for the seven-day period ending Feb. 25.  The freshman was one of three players honored on Tuesday morning when the league office made the announcement.

Joining Daniels on the podium was teammate Andres Velez (Toa Baja, Puerto Rico), who was recognized for the second time in three weeks as the CCAC Defender of the Week, and Trinity Christian College's Alex Costa (Oak Lawn, Ill.), who claimed his first CCAC Attacker of the Week award for the 2024 campaign.

Daniels produced identical 46-assist matches on Tuesday and Saturday in a pair of split four-set decisions for the Cougars.  In a win over Illinois Institute of Technology on Tuesday, he also registered two assist blocks.  Then, on Saturday, in a loss to NAIA No. 9 Georgetown College (Ky.), he put up eight digs to go along with his assist count to finish with an 11.5 assist-per-set average for the week.

Saint Xavier, rated No. 11 in the latest NAIA Coaches' Poll, is 6-6 overall following its split decisions this past week.
