It Is Paytons' Place On Men's Outdoor Track & Field Weekly Awards Stand

CHICAGO --- A pair of Paytons have captured the latest round of Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference men's outdoor track & field weekly accolades, the league office announced on Wednesday.  Securing the honor for Olivet Nazarene University was Payton Domagalski (Columbus, Ohio), while Payton Woods (Rock Island, Ill.) did so for St. Ambrose University.

Domagalski was named the CCAC Track Athlete of the Week after placing sixth among NCAA I competitors in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Indiana State University Gibson Invitational on Saturday.  He hit the NAIA "B" standard with his time of 9:29.85.

Woods also recorded a "B" standard mark to earn CCAC Field Athlete of the Week recognition.  He achieved his distance of 177 feet, 10 inches in the hammer throw to place fifth among 43 individuals at the Augustana College Meet of Champions on Saturday.
