CHICAGO --- First-place finishes from Saint Xavier University's Ayobami Arokoyo (Schaumburg, Ill.) and St. Ambrose University's Will Reemtsma (Davenport, Iowa) during the seven-day period ending April 7 have put the pair on the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference awards stand as the league's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week, respectively, the league office announced on Thursday.

Arokoyo, who claimed the award for the second time this spring, was also recognized as the NAIA National Field Athlete of the Week one day earlier.  The junior gained the distinction by recording the top distance in the NAIA this spring in the discus event.

On Saturday, his throw measured 174 feet to outperform 55 other competitors at the Chicagoland Championships.

Reemtsma, meanwhile, topped the list of finishers in each of the three events in which he competed in at the Augustana University Viking Olympics on Saturday highlighted by his top-ranking NAIA time of 50.22 seconds in the 400-meter hurdles.

The graduate student also registered a "B" standard mark of 14.74 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles and combined with three other Bee runners to win the mixed 4x400-meter relay in a time of 3:41.35.

Other Track Nominees: Lendale Franklin (Saint Xavier), Camren Carter (Judson), Vince Giuliano (Olivet Nazarene), Zac Maher (Trinity Christian).
