Holy Cross' Perry Earns Second Straight Men's Tennis Weekly Award
CHICAGO --- Helping NAIA No. 21 Holy Cross College knock off No. 24 Marian University (Ind.) by a 4-2 count, Perry Gregg (Chicago, Ill.) has been named the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week for the seven-day period ending March 31, the league office announced on Wednesday.
The junior gained the accolades for the second consecutive week after notching a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles in his lone match of the week against the Knights. His No. 1 doubles match went unfinished.
Holy Cross evened out its record at 3-3 with the win.
