CHICAGO --- Viterbo University's Sebastian Acosta (Barranquilla, Columbia) and Saint Xavier University's Andres Zamora (Cicero, Ill.) have claimed Week 8 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week honors, the league office announced on Tuesday morning.

Zamora captured his third CCAC Defensive Player of the Week award this season after allowing only one goal and recording 11 saves in a pair of Cougar wins during the seven-day period ending Oct. 15.

The senior goalkeeper stopped six shots in earning his fifth clean sheet of the season in a 1-0 win over league leader Olivet Nazarene last Tuesday.  He followed that up with five saves in a 3-1 victory against Holy Cross College on Saturday.
