CHICAGO --- University of St. Francis has swept the latest round of Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference men's soccer weekly awards after Pablo Rubio Guerra (Oviedo, Spain) and Erick Murillo (Bolingbrook, Ill.) guided the Fighting Saints to a pair of shutout wins during the seven-day period ending Sept. 17.  The league office made the announcement Tuesday afternoon.

Rubio Guerra was named the CCAC Offensive Player of the Week after scoring a pair of goals and providing two assists in the two victories.  The junior forward registered a goal and two assists in a 5-0 win over St. Mary-of-the-Woods College (Ind.) last Tuesday before providing the winning goal in USF's 2-0 victory against Trinity Christian College in the CCAC opener on Saturday.

Murillo scored the league's Defensive Player of the Week recognition after notching the first two shutouts of his collegiate career.  The freshman authored three saves in each contest.

Winners of four matches in a row, the Saints are 4-2 overall and 1-0 in CCAC play.
