Olivet Nazarene's Mariotti Collects First Men's Golfer of the Week Award For 2024

CHICAGO --- Olivet Nazarene University's Lorenzo Mariotti (Monte Argentario, Italy) has claimed the first Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week award for the 2024 spring season, the league office announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Mariotti averaged a 76 over his three rounds at the Heritage Hill Collegiate Tournament this past weekend.  The highlight was his even-par 72 in the second of three rounds on Saturday.  In his other two rounds, the sophomore shot a 78 to place 22nd out of 70 competitors.

As a team, Olivet Nazarene placed 11th out of 12 squads.
