USF's Ramsey Garners Women's CC Weekly Honors For Third Time In 2024

CHICAGO --- Another record-setting performance has earned University of St. Francis' Allison Ramsey (Oak Forest, Ill.) her third Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week award this season, the league office announced on Wednesday.

After setting a new PR earlier this year, Ramsey did it again on Saturday when she won the Mount Mercy University (Iowa) Seminole Valley Stampede in a time of 22:11.2.  That bested the senior's previous mark by 50.8 seconds and led a contingent of 138 other runners. 

Among the 15 teams competing, the NAIA No. 11-ranked Fighting Saints placed fourth.
