ONU's Miller Repeats On Offense, HCC's Agee Collects Defensive Weekly Accolades In Women's Soccer

CHICAGO ---Olivet Nazarene University's Melea Miller (Bloomington, Ind.) has claimed back-to-back Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honors, while Holy Cross College's Madeleine Agee (Houston, Tex.) earned the defensive accolades for their efforts during the seven-day period from Sept. 30-Oct. 6.  The league office made the announcement on Tuesday morning.

Miller's three goals on the week slotted her into a tie for the conference lead with nine on the campaign.  She also leads the CCAC in points with 21.

The junior forward connected twice, including the game-winner, in ONU's 4-1 win over Governors State University last Tuesday.  She also accounted for the only Tiger goal in a 1-1 tie with University of St. Francis on Saturday.

Olivet Nazarene's 1-0-1 week put the Tigers at 4-4-3 overall and 4-0-1 against league competition to maintain the top spot in the conference standings.

Agee gained CCAC Defensive Player of the Week honors after posting her second and third shutouts of the season.  The freshman stopped a trio of shots in a 1-0 win against Indiana University Northwest last Tuesday before recording eight saves in a 1-0 decision over Viterbo University on Saturday.

Holy Cross' perfect week vaulted the Saints to 5-6 overall and 3-1 in the CCAC.
