Holy Cross Sweeps Women's Soccer Weekly Awards
CHICAGO --- Holy Cross College has swept the latest round of Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference women's soccer weekly awards, which were announced on Tuesday morning. Claiming top offensive accolades was Miriam Iturriaga-Sanchez (Goshen, Ind.), while Abigail Fouts (Russiaville, Ind.) gained the defensive nod for their efforts during the week of Sept. 16-22.
Iturriaga-Sanchez scored in both of Holy Cross' matches last week, including the game-winner in a 6-1 victory over Governors State University to open the league season on Saturday. In that contest, the sophomore forward tallied a pair of goals and provided one assist.
Iturriaga-Sanchez also accounted for the lone goal in a 2-1 setback to University of Saint Francis (Ind.) last Tuesday.

Holy Cross is 3-5 overall and 1-0 against league competition.
