Women's Soccer All-Academic Team Recognizes 98 Student-Athletes

CHICAGO --- Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference regular-season and tournament champion St. Ambrose University, along with Holy Cross College and Trinity Christian College, totaled a league-best 14 recipients when the 2023 CCAC Women's Soccer All-Academic Team was announced on Thursday afternoon.

All 12 schools that sponsor women's soccer were represented on the 98-person honor roll, which was the highest count amongst the five fall league sports.

Saint Xavier University just missed the double-figure count with its nine selections, while Judson University and Olivet Nazarene University each produced eight honorees.  Registering six spots on the list were Governors State University, University of St. Francis and Viterbo University.

Also represented were five members from Roosevelt University's team and four each from the squads of Indiana University Northwest and Indiana University South Bend.

Included among the group were 33 two-time recipients, nine three-time selections and a trio of four-time representatives.  Three individuals boasted perfect 4.00 grade point averages.

To be nominated for the award, a student-athlete must have been enrolled at her respective CCAC school for a minimum of one academic year, have completed at least 30 semester hours and boast no less than a 3.25 cumulative grade point average.
