SXU's Davis Named CCAC Women's Golfer of the Week

CHICAGO --- Saint Xavier University's Maddie Davis (Chicago, Ill.) is the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for the seven-day period ending April 6, the league office announced on Wednesday.

Davis shot an eight-over-par 79 at SXU's own Battle at the Creek on Saturday.  That enabled the sophomore to claim medalist honors among the field of 25 total golfers at the event.

As a team, SXU was second among three squads.
