Olivet Nazarene's Jones Gains First Women's Golf Weekly Honor For 2024

CHICAGO --- The first Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week award for the 2024 spring season has been presented to Olivet Nazarene University's Alexandria Jones (Bloomington, Ill.), the league office announced on Wednesday morning.

Jones gained the recognition after averaging an 84.3 over her three rounds at the Heritage Hill Collegiate Tournament over the weekend.  That placed the senior 22nd out of 43 golfers. 

Jones opened with a 78 with her other two rounds being an 84 and a 91.

Olivet Nazarene placed sixth out of seven teams at the meet.
