
2024 Men's Cross Country All-Academic Team Announced
CHICAGO --- Olivet Nazarene University and St. Ambrose University shared the title for the most men's cross country all-academic selections when the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced its 2024 academic honor roll on Monday morning. Both teams totaled eight recipients.
Saint Xavier University followed the duo with five selections, while Judson University, Trinity Christian College and conference champion University of St. Francis had four each. Governors State University and Viterbo University were represented by a pair of players each.
Of the 37 individuals honored, a quartet boasted perfect 4.00 cumulative grade point averages. Twenty of the honorees were also a part of the squad one year ago, including one four-time selection and seven three-time choices. The other 12 were repeat picks.
To be nominated for the award, a student-athlete must have been enrolled at his respective CCAC school for a minimum of one academic year, have completed at least 30 semester hours and boast no less than a 3.25 cumulative grade point average.
