JU's Donoso Collects Men's Tennis Weekly Honors

CHICAGO --- Judson University's Nicolas Donoso (Sucre, Bolivia) has garnered the second weekly men's tennis award of the 2025 season from the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference, the league office announced on Friday afternoon.

Donoso boasted a perfect scorecard on the week, going 3-0 at No. 2 singles and 4-0 at No. 2 doubles with Cesar Ontondo.

The sophomore opened the seven-day period ending March 16 with a 6-0 doubles victory against Washington & Jefferson College (Pa.) last Monday before winning both singles and doubles matches against the same foes the rest of the week.  That started last Tuesday vs. College of Coastal Georgia with subsequent victories against both Midland University (Neb.) and Salve Regina University (RI) on Thursday.

As a team, Judson went 5-1 on the week and is 9-5 on the season overall.
