SXU's Hawk Notches Men's Golfer of the Week Honors

CHICAGO --- Saint Xavier University's Talon Hawk (Morro Bay, Calif.) has claimed his first collegiate athletic award, the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced on Wednesday when the freshman was named its Men's Golfer of the Week.

Hawk registered a one-under-par 70 at the University of St. Francis (Ill.) Spring Invite on Thursday in his only match of the week.  That placed him fourth among 44 total golfers and helped the Cougars win the five-team event.

Other Nominees: Jack Busch (Olivet Nazarene), Nathan Lunde (St. Francis), Noah McKay (Judson), Jacob Palmer (Holy Cross), Ricardo Serpa (Trinity Christian).
