
2025 Baseball All-Academic Team Announced
CHICAGO --- A total of 97 individuals were recognized by the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference for their academic prowess when the league office announced its 2025 academic honor roll for the sport of baseball Wednesday morning.
Headlining the group of eight schools represented was Trinity Christian College with 20 total selections. Gaining runner-up distinction was Saint Xavier University with 18 honorees, followed by University of St. Francis with 14 and Judson University with 11.
Securing nine spots each on the team were Olivet Nazarene University, St. Ambrose University and Viterbo University, while Calumet College of St. Joseph had seven names on the squad.
Of those named to the team, 33 were on it one year ago with one of those being a four-time recipient, seven being named for the third year in a row and 25 being repeat selections. Four awardees also turned in perfect 4.00 cumulative grade point averages.
To be nominated for the award, a student-athlete must have been enrolled at his respective CCAC school for a minimum of one academic year, have completed at least 30 semester hours and boast no less than a 3.25 cumulative grade point average.
